What inspired you to start creating daily scratch-off lottery videos, and how did the idea evolve into a full-time project?
Around February I was just fed up with the realization that I was going to have to work for another 20 years at least. So I was just looking at lottery odds and that’s when I discovered that certain states post alot of ticket data that you can use to improve your odds. I’m notoriously bad at gambling so I would only buy a scratch off like twice a year and maybe some draw games when the jackpot becomes large. So I was out watching the NCAA tournament basketball games when I found a machine that actually had the $6,000,000 Jackpot Tickets which is a scratch off ticket with a positive ROI due to two Jackpots being available still and less than a million tickets left. I ended up playing teh entire pack and won around $200 and whenever I was lucky enough to find that game I’d buy most of the pack and would come out ahead every time. Its the first time I ever actually was winning when gambling. Problem is Michigan Lotto removed the tickets from shelves so if I wanted to play it I’d have to drive around for hours stopping at every gas station and liquor store. It was very time consuming and frustrating as most of the time I came home with nothing. Then I saw a few videos of people scratching tickets and what not on Reddit and started looking further into it. I thought maybe documenting my search for the $6,000,000 Jackpot tickets would attract viewers. It attracted a few but not many. I then tried doing big scratch sessions with only a few views and subscribers. Then I saw that most of the views I saw people getting were just of a daily scratch with a scan of the ticket. So I started the daily scratch video over 84 days ago now and plan on continuing them while I can afford them. I also bought one of every Michigan lottery ticket I could find and did a review video on them. It was fun but overall I lost a ton of money doing that.I have alot of lotto ideas in my head for future projects but finding time and the money to do them is limiting me. Praying that one day one of these scratches pay off and I can really let my ideas get put out as I think alot of people that follow us would find them fun.
Can you walk us through your creative process—how do you choose which tickets to feature and keep the content fresh every day?
For my creative process I usually bounce ideas off of Chat GPT and watch other videos that are similar online. Occasionally I’ll ask viewers what tickets I should play but mainly I stick to whatever the top ROI tickets are for whatever dollar amount I’m playing.
What’s the most memorable win (or loss!) you’ve experienced on camera, and how did your audience react?
I’m pretty sure my losses are more memorable than my wins currently. I’ve had a few $500 winners that were nice but still chasing those jackpots. If you watch enough people scratch online you will realize that the odds are stacked heavily against us and just getting your money back is a win most of the time.
Many people are fascinated by U.S. lottery systems—what are some interesting facts or differences you’ve noticed compared to other countries?
In the US each state is responsible for its lottery. The whole reason the lottery exists in the US is the government wanted its cut from all the illegal gambling back in the day. I have no knowledge of other countries scratch off tickets but its crazy just seeing how much it varies state to state in the US. Some states have giant payouts and tons of players. Other states have very small payouts and do not post ticket statistics so you just have to trust the state lottery commission.
Do you think scratch-off tickets are more about luck or strategy? Are there any myths you’ve encountered that you’d like to debunk?
I think scratch-off tickets are probably mainly luck but odds can come into play if you play smart and often. I’d say some of the myths I’ve seen is the 000 ticket and line on top of the ticket being good luck. Ive lost on them all and won on them. It’s all random.
How do you balance entertainment with responsible gaming in your content, especially given the addictive nature of lotteries?
In the US gambling is thrown in your face all day everyday. With sports gambling becoming so rampant it seems that you can’t escape ads for some new gambling site or app every single day. I try and stick to a budget and set aside money I’m willing to lose. It does make things tight at home though with the costs of pretty much everything going up what seems like weekly. I used to use just my OT money when gambling but no what its been cut I plan on using my winnings from the super raffle and then I really have no idea after that. If people are going to gamble and watch my content thinking its a good idea I’m not sure how I can help them. I lose A LOT!. I try and post my ROI once in awhile. I think that should be the number one thing that you can do to keep people responsible. Although I think thats the lotterys job. Not mine.
What’s next for your channel—are you planning collaborations, new formats, or maybe exploring other types of lottery games?
Everything I have planned for my channel really all depend son me having money to actually do it. I’d really like to review every ticket from a few other states but thats an expensive thing. My ROI when I did it in Michigan was only 35%. We shall see where the wins or losses take us.

Non ho conoscenza dei gratta e vinci di altri paesi, ma è incredibile vedere quanto vari da stato a stato negli USA. Alcuni stati hanno premi enormi e tantissimi giocatori. Altri stati hanno premi molto piccoli e non pubblicano statistiche sui biglietti, quindi devi fidarti della commissione statale della lotteria.
Secondo te i gratta e vinci sono più questione di fortuna o di strategia? Ci sono miti che vorresti sfatare?
Penso che i gratta e vinci siano principalmente fortuna, ma le probabilità possono entrare in gioco se giochi in modo intelligente e spesso. Direi che alcuni miti che ho visto riguardano il biglietto 000 e la linea in cima al biglietto che porterebbe fortuna. Ho perso e vinto con entrambi. È tutto casuale.

Tutto ciò che ho pianificato per il mio canale dipende davvero dal fatto che io abbia i soldi per farlo. Mi piacerebbe recensire ogni biglietto di alcuni altri stati, ma è una cosa costosa. Il mio ROI quando l’ho fatto in Michigan era solo del 35%. Vedremo dove ci porteranno le vincite o le perdite.
